¿Te atreves a hacer tu propia corona?[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44355″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Puedes seguirme también a través de las redes sociales: FacebookInstagramPinterestTwitterGoogle+Ello y Snapchat.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Fotografía: Berezi Moments[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” oblique_section=”no” text_align=”left” css_animation=”” box_shadow_on_row=”no”][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”30px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][/vc_column][/vc_row][:en][vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” oblique_section=”no” text_align=”left” css_animation=”” box_shadow_on_row=”no”][vc_column][layerslider_vc id=”69″][vc_empty_space height=”30px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” oblique_section=”no” text_align=”left” css_animation=”” box_shadow_on_row=”no”][vc_column][vc_column_text]I can’t find a better way to start the red and green month par excellence, rather than showing you the Christmas crown workshop I made last weekend at Academia Paula Latry. One of the wonderful arts that surround the world of weddings is flowers, so when I saw Paula Latry was organizing a Christmas crown workshop in Santander, my beloved “Tierruca”, I couldn’t resist and signed up immediately.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44328″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]

La nave que late

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]The crown workshop was held on November 27 in “La nave que late”, an old factory located in the fishing district of Santander. Shortly before starting, I met the different girls who would come to the workshop and began to introduce ourselves. We were impatient for what would happen in the afternoon and when we came in, it was like discovering the wonderful universe of Christmas.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Everything was prepared with such a care and illusion that we didn’t want to move anything. The place is decorated with exquisite taste and has that industrial touch that I like a lot. Light bulbs and garlands hanging from the ceiling, brick walls, scaffolding and cattles that served as tables for the course.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44329″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44330″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44336″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44351″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]They also set up a table with a delicious snack in which nothing was missing, coffee, chocolate, spice bread, Christmas canes, “roscón de Reyes” and some Christmas cookies. Oh and they also gave us the recipes of the French pastry chef Antoine Latry, so I have no excuse this Christmas to improve in the kitchen.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44332″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44333″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44334″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44335″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44342″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]In the first part of the workshop we learnt more about the origin and traditions of the crown and the elements often used on it; Paula prepared a notebook with a very careful design that was accompanied by a gold pen and an accreditation to put our name. In addition, she presented us with a candle and a solidarity postcard, as part of the value of the workshop is assigned to Intermon Oxfam and Aldeas Infantiles. It is the first time that I see this in a course and it seems to me a great success, like the solidary details that are given now at weddings.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44331″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44341″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44340″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44344″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44345″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]

My Christmas crown

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]In the second part of the workshop we focused on making the crowns to the sound of the relaxing music that Paula had chosen, the key is to enjoy and let creativity flourish! We divided into three groups and began designing our crown. We each chose freely the flowers and accessories that we would use, from pinecones, eucalyptus; pine to dehydrated lemon slices and even bells or cinnamon. The Christmas elements in the decoration are multiple and varied, the trick is to achieve harmony and that the crown isn’t very full.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Because Christmas doesn’t have to be always red and because I am a faithful defender of the “less is more”, I prepared a very natural crown with a base of straw that was allowed to glimpse. The green touches were given by spruce and baby eucalyptus, and pinecone and dehydrated lemons brought naturalness to the crown.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44339″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44337″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44338″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44346″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44348″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44347″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44350″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44349″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44352″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]It was wonderful to spend the afternoon in “La nave que late”, besides I met lovely girls who share the same hobbies that I do. I must confess that another of the reasons I signed up for the workshop was because Raquel Canseco was invited, wedding blogger and author of Dorothy’s Red Shoes, whose blog I have been following and admiring for a long time. When you meet people like her who are a reference in the world of weddings, and speak to you with simplicity and closeness, you do nothing but convince yourself that this profession is surrounded by beautiful and special people.
