Por aquí ha repartido muuucho amor en forma de berezipost. Como ya avanzaba en la última entrada del blog, esta semana le toca el turno a otra bereziboda del verano pasado. Una boda con sabor vascoinglés, en Bilbao, que tenía muchas ganas de compartir contigo y que me trae muy buenos recuerdos, ya que Sara fue una de las primeras berezinovias en confiar en mí.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Todavía recuerdo el día que me escribió Sara, contándome que se casaba y que necesitaba ayuda con su boda. Sara y Jamie viven en Chorlton, un pueblecito cerca de Manchester, y querían casarse en Bizkaia, lugar de procedencia de la novia. Hoy te contaré todo sobre la preboda, el look de los novios, la papelería y la ceremonia. Al objetivo ese día, mi querida Patricia with Love, que congenió con los novios desde el primer momento y puso todo su cariño y expertise, como comprobarás en las fotos de este post.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Antes de nada, avanzo que el estilo de la boda recuerda a la época victoriana inglesa y que en la paleta de colores, se encontraban el “rojo Sara” (jijiji lo digo así porque es el color favorito de la novia, es habitual verla con los labios en carmín rojo), el verde mint y el rosa cuarzo. Preboda con pintxos vascos y txakolí 

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Sara y Jamie esperaban muchos invitados de fuera, tanto de España, como de Inglaterra, por parte de la familia y amigos del novio. Se nos ocurrió preparar un picoteo el viernes para que los novios pudieran recibir a sus invitados, charlar un rato con ellos y darles la bienvenida. Estas soluciones me parecen una gran idea porque cuando los invitados han hecho un viaje tan largo para venir a la boda, recibirles así es un detallazo, además de una buena manera de que se conozcan entre ellos.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Ángela González, de Micrapel Bodas (luego te hablaré de ella), diseñó una tarjeta ideal, pintada a mano en acuarela, que los novios incluyeron en el sobre de la invitación. Así, todos sabrían que a la llegada les esperaba este encuentro.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44694″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Escogimos el bar Zuga, de la Plaza Nueva de Bilbao y David, que nos atendió con suma flexibilidad y disposición, preparó una variada selección de pintxos que sorprendió a ingleses y españoles. Para que quedara más mono, colocamos un mantelito de cuadros vichy con un cartel de bienvenida. La papelería

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Sara siempre tuvo claro que el día de su boda confiaría en Ángela, de Micrapel Bodas, amiga personal e íntima, para diseñar sus invitaciones. Micrapel es una empresa que se dedica a la papelería de bodas y tiene unas invitaciones preciosas, además de un blog muy inspirador (aquí puedes ver la crónica que hicieron de la boda de Sara y Jamie).[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Los novios se decantaron por una invitación de estética british con un sobre forrado que tenía unos dibujos vintage en tonos rojos grana, el color principal de la boda. Los preparativos del gran día

LA NOVIA

Sara se decidió por un maquillaje natural enfatizando su mirada y como toque especial, el carmín rojo en los labios; ya que como te decía antes, es el color favorito de esta berezinovia, y decidió que si en su día a día era una marca de identidad suya, ¿por qué no iba a serlo también el día de su boda?[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44700″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Esta novia quiso lucir unas ondas naturales en su larga melena morena que hicieran resaltar la espectacular corona que hizo Iratxe de Peqaré. Una corona en tonos corales y verdes mint, con reflejos plateados y flores de porcelana, diseñada con mimo y de manera totalmente personalizada para Sara. EL NOVIO

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]El novio se preparó en el Hotel Coliseo Bilbao y sus best-men le ayudaron a cambiarse, y compartieron juntos grandes momentos. En Inglaterra, existe la costumbre de que al novio le acompañen los best-men (no es lo mismo que aquí el padrino o la madrina), que componen la corte de honor del novio y se encargan de asesorarlo y ayudarlo, además de realizar un discurso de felicitación durante el brindis.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Jamie vestía traje en tonos azules y como complemento un pañuelo de estampado Paisley con corbata naranja, exclusivo de Doherty Evans & Stott, reconocida sastrería de Manchester. La ceremonia en la Universidad de Deusto

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]La boda tuvo lugar en la iglesia de la Universidad de Deusto, ya que Sara estudió hace años allí y casarse en la capilla de la Universidad, tenía un gran valor sentimental. Ambos aprecian la buena música y tienen una cultura musical muy amplia. Para la ceremonia, confiamos en Ana Sagastizábal, como soprano (componente de The Gasti’s) y Margarita Lorenzo de Reizábal, al piano. Jamie entró a ritmo de “Champagne Supernova” de Oasis y Sara con “Woman” de John Lennon. ¿No me digas que estas canciones no dicen mucho de la personalidad arrolladora de estos berezinovios? Otras canciones que sonaron en la ceremonia fueron “Ave María” de Schubert (momento emotivo en el que fui testigo de varias lagrimitas entre los asistentes), “Dona nobis pacem” de Mozart (impresionante la voz de Ana) o “Canticorum iubilo” de Händel, para la salida.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44739″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44736″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Para que los invitados pudieran seguir mejor la ceremonia, preparamos un misal que diseñó Ángela, de Micrapel Bodas, dibujando en acuarela la entrada principal de la Universidad de Deusto. La decoración

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Flores Elorz también se encargó de las flores de la iglesia, le pedimos a Rosa que preparara cuatro centros generosos, sobre unos cestos blancos que habíamos cogido, utilizando las mismas flores del ramo, en distintos tonos de rosas, eucalipto, hortensias fucsia, gerberas… Una maravilla de centros que hicieron lucir la Universidad más, si cabe.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44735″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44764″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]A la salida, las wedding planners coordinamos un paseo milimetrado entre los invitados para que al pasar los novios, la entrada fuese más especial, entre las pompas de jabón. Como en el claustro no se podía tirar nada al suelo, también preparamos unos wedding wands, unas varitas con lazos con los colores de la boda (rojo grana, verde mint y rosa cuarzo) que tenían cascabeles, y que los invitados debían agitar para hacer ruido.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44740″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44766″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44720″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44741″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Como es habitual en las bodas vascas al terminar la ceremonia, a los novios les recibió un aurresku de honor acompañado de un txistulari con tambor (el txistulari es la persona que toca el txistu, instrumento vasco similar a la flauta, y el dantzari, es la persona que hace el baile homenaje). De paseo por las calles de Bilbao

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Creo que no te había dicho antes que otra de las cosas que hizo especial esta bereziboda fue la fecha escogida, casualidad o no (ya que la fecha la cambiamos por temas de disponibilidades), la boda fue el día que empezaba la Aste Nagusia, la Semana Grande de las fiestas de Bilbao.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Termino con estas fotos (imposible reducir la selección, a cada cuál, me parece más bonita) que captan toda la naturalidad del momento de los novios, gracias a la sensibilidad de Patricia. Sara and Jamie live in Chorlton, a small town near Manchester, and they wanted to get married in Bizkaia, where the bride comes from. Today I will tell you everything about the prewedding party, the look of the bride and groom, the stationery and the ceremony. Prewedding party with Basque pintxos and Txakolí

It occurred to us to prepare a snack on Friday so that the couple could receive their guests, chat with them and welcome them. These solutions seem to me a great idea because when the guests have made such a long trip to get to the wedding, receiving them like this is such a detail, plus a good way to get to know each other.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Ángela González, from Micrapel Bodas (I’ll tell you about her later), designed an ideal card, hand-painted in watercolor, which the bride and groom included in the invitation envelope. The Stationery

Micrapel is a company who offers wedding stationery and has some lovely invitations, as well as a very inspiring blog (here you can see the chronicle they made of the wedding of Sara and Jamie).[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]The bride and groom opted for a British aesthetic invitation with a lined envelope that had vintage dark red-lettered, the main color of the wedding. THE BRIDE

Sara decided on a natural makeup emphasizing her look and with as a special touch, the red carmine on her lips; as I said before, it is the favorite color of this berezibride, and she decided that if in her daylife it was one of her marks of identity, why should not it be on her wedding day too?ambién el día de su boda?[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44700″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]This bride wanted to show natural waves in her long brown hair that made highlight the amazing headdress made by Iratxe from Peqaré. A crown designed in chorales and mint greens, with silvery reflections and porcelain flowers, made with care and completely customized for Sara. THE GROOM

In England, it is a tradition for the groom to be accompanied by the best-men (not the same as the godfather here in Spain), who make up the honorary court of the groom and are responsible for accompanying and assisting him, in addition to performing a greeting speech during the toast.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Jamie was dressed in blue tones and as a complement a Paisley print scarf with orange tie, exclusive of Doherty Evans & Stott, a well-known tailor’s shop in Manchester. The ceremony at the University of Deusto

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]The wedding took place in the church of the University of Deusto, since Sara studied there years ago and to get married in the chapel of the University, had a great sentimental value for her. Both appreciate good music and have a broad musical culture. For the ceremony, we rely on Ana Sagastizábal, as soprano (component of The Gasti’s) and Margarita Lorenzo de Reizábal, on the piano. Jamie arrived at the rhythm of “Champagne Supernova” by Oasis and Sara with “Woman” by John Lennon. Do not tell me that these songs do not say so much of the overwhelming personality of this berezicouple? The Decoration

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]Flores Elorz also took care of the flowers of the church, we asked Rosa to prepare four generous centers on white baskets we had bought, using the same flowers as the bride’s bouquet, in different shades of roses, eucalyptus, fuchsia hydrangeas, pink gerberas… A marvel of centers that made the University shined more, if possible.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44735″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”15px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_single_image image=”44764″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]On the way out, the wedding planners coordinated a minutely calculated walk among the guests so that as the bride and groom passed, the entrance was more special, among the soap bubbles.
